MONITOR TATU
Monitor Tatu has been training capoeira for over 13 years and has been teaching for the past 5 years in locations ranging from Cranston to Pawtucket, RI. After starting his capoeira journey with Capoeira Angola from Mestre Deraldo in Boston, MA, he found his way to Grupo Ondas in 2003 where he received both his graduado (2006) and 1st and 2nd monitor cords (2008 and 2010).
In addition to teaching capoeira, Monitor Tatu is a full-time DJ and spends his free time researching music and how to build berimbaus. IN ADDITION to hosting B-Boy Competitions throughout the country.
